Top 5 Home Workouts for Men and Women to Boost Their Health
Working out at home is something that more and more people
are doing in this day and age. It’s convenient, it’s cost-effective, and it’s
something that you can always fit into your schedule, no matter how busy you
are. Although there are many great ways to lose weight and get into shape at
home, there are some that are better than others when it comes to improving
your overall health the way that you want to improve it. These five workouts
will help you burn fat, build muscle, and get in shape faster than ever before
with minimal equipment and no expensive gym memberships required.
1) Yoga
Yoga is one of the best ways you can get in a good workout
at home. Yoga has been around for thousands of years, with many benefits that
include increased physical fitness and more. There are numerous yoga poses you
can try, but one of the most popular is Downward Facing Dog. This pose helps
stretch your hamstrings, back muscles, calves and shoulders. The downward
facing dog also helps open up your chest cavity so air will flow freely through
your lungs.
2) Weight lifting
All you need is a set of free weights, a mat, a bench and an
exercise ball. Your body weight will be enough resistance during this workout.
In the first round, do as many rounds as possible in 2 minutes with 10 reps per
exercise. Rest for 1 minute between sets. Round 2 is same but with 15 reps
instead of 10 reps. Round 3 is same but with 20 reps instead of 10 starts per
exercise.
3) Pilates
The Pilates method emphasizes the development of core
strength, flexibility, and breathing technique. Pilates principles are
incorporated into a wide range of other fitness programs. There are three types
of exercises that are performed on the mat: matwork, small equipment exercises,
and large equipment exercises. Matwork includes floor exercises done from one’s
hands and knees or from one’s feet with various arm positions.
4) Running
Although running might not seem like a challenging workout,
it can be difficult if you don't have the proper gear. To run properly, you
should have a supportive and comfortable shoe that offers support for your foot
as well as cushioning in the heel area. You'll also want to wear a sports bra
with moisture-wicking material that will keep you cool during your run.
5) Circuit training
Circuit training is a type of strength training in which you
move from one exercise to the next without any rest. You can do circuit
training with dumbbells, resistance bands, or bodyweight. The key is that you
don't need any equipment at all. Perform each set of exercises for 20 seconds,
then rest for 10 seconds before moving onto the next set. If you're feeling
really strong and confident, you can perform up to five sets of each exercise.
